Getting "acustommed" South American style

Mt Fuji from our bedroom window

Incredibly healthy breakfast buffet
Today we drive to Bariloche in Argentina-this means a 5 hour drive across the Andes crossing the Chilean Argentinian border.
Having recovered the control of our gastrointestinal tracts we head off in high spirits on a beautiful sunny day
Frittilar concert hall

and after about 2 hours of driving........

Assuming a massive pile-up, I discover that this is the queue for the Chilean customs. After about an hour we are allowed into a compound where we wait in a queue and get all our documents stamped and are allowed through. We then drive to the Argie customs check and all this is repeated. We have moved 17Km in 4 hours!
We finish the drive with a flourish in great weather with views

and then  we arrive at the Llao Llao Hotel, a sort of Argentinian version of the Hydro Majestic.

Dinner view
Following drinkies and dinner we collapse exhausted.
