Torres del big Paine in the gut

This morning’s hike is to the Grey lake and glacier. One member of our group keeps us entertained with copious vomiting which is shortly followed by another member (the bird photographer-ha, ha). So with no sounds apart from the heaving and retching we immerse ourselves in the timeless splendour of this great country of ours.

Back at the hotel we discover there has been a breakout of Torres Tummy among both guests and guides. Thanking God, for our robust Australian constitution we walk after lunch into another wilderness area accompanied by a somewhat garrulous American, who tells us with great relish about his morning swim in the glacial lake.
We spot a lot of wildlifes including guanacos, a sort of stunted llama, and an emu.

Large meal in the evening and then all hell breaks loose in my gastrointestinal tract.
