More hunks of ice and meat


Surprisingly, we have another early start and we are driven to our Gourmet Dining and Cruising Experience. We hop on board our vessel with a bunch of fellow cruisers and we are off to glacier world. It turns out glaciers are only around when the temperatures are very cold and we become seriously hypothermic on our trip to our first glacier, set amongst a sea of icebergs.

Then it is off to get close up and personal with the Spalanzanni glacier











and then a trip ashore to view some old farmhouse.



By the time we get back to El Calafate we must have been seriously hungry as we ate an Argentenian pizza-they should stick to what they are good at and that is “big hunks of animal”
