Two lunartics get their just deserts

This morning we are off to the Lunar valley-this area looks like where Neil Armstrong trained! Everything here seems to be coated with salt or made out of salt. This is a harsh environment where not even Bear Grylls would last not more than 20 minutes

Our guide,Morizio then leads us through a cave also made out salt (pro tip:never ask anybody in the Atacama Desert to pass the salt)

and emerging with lacerated scalps and back we return to our primitive lodging for a very basic 3 course lunch (forgoing even the basic necessities and drinking non-vintage champagne).
In the afternoon we are off for another trek in a equally barren landscape, minus the salt.
