Walking with the enemy

At gunpoint we are herded onto the minibus for our first entertainment of the day-a walk along the Rio Pingo with Pecca (?Pecker) our trusty guide. The weather is sunny and warm and I talk to a bird photographer who continually makes derisory comments about my camera and my “holiday snaps”-classic Pom.

In the afternoon the boss opts for a massage while I do another hike with the unfriendliest group you can imagine-as I am alone they think I must be some sort of deviant and what could be further from the truth! The views here can be moderately spectacular.
