Amazing steaks, how sweet the taste.........

Decide to cancel our trip to Uruguay today and just hang out in BA.
Having discovered my runners are disintegrating we make our way to the nearest Nike store, taking advantage of a barber en route
"Don't worry you have spare one on the right side"
and sneaky views of  the zoo.
Pink Flamingos for Ella
Find the Nike store and are served by a young fella who didn't really seem to have a whole lot of job satisfaction, but he did have a pair of 13s!
Experience a local cafe where if you simply order a coffee you end up with a four course meal.

We visit the Evita museum which was informative and stresses her saintly qualities-the Lady Di for the Argies.
A robust lunch followed by a siesta.

Then out to dinner at Patagonia Sur run by Argentinian barbecue icon Francis Mallman; tonight was at capacity with 6 patrons. We were fortunate enough to hear 2 US ladies conversations regarding their abusive husbands etc etc-I don't know why those people need to be so noisy.
Anyway the meal was superb. When told one course was chuck steak I did raise my eyebrows but was told that"we know how to cook it". It turns out he was right and the chuck steak despite being aged and grilled was tender as butter and incredibly flavoursome.

The trip home was by a "take no prisoners" taxi driver.
