Frank and Robyn Ponder the Intangobles of Life

We are picked up by our ever friendly guide, Marianna, who takes us on a half day tour of Buenos Aires. The first stop is at the dead centre of town, the Recoletta Cemetery, a very exclusive cemetery only for the well heeled (and dead), including the mausoleum of Evita-much venerated.

Evita doesn't live here

He looks pretty armless!

Other areas of the city are shown to us

Changing of the guards

Home of the Boca Juniors

Floralis Generica, which closes at night
and then a lunch of empenadas, a BA version of meat pie.
An afternoon siesta then off to the tango show. We were told to be ready at 1845 and were eventually picked up at 1945.
The tango show was pretty, pretty good-the tango is a dance which was originally designed as a manouver to avoid being kicked in the crutch. Food was Ok and apart from dancing there was pleny of traditional hitting the ground with the end of skipping ropes, which was a lot more entertaining than it sounds.
